Turmeric Latte Recipe

I use this recipe instead of having a second coffee, when I was craving a warm bevvy. This was especially helpful while I was breast feeding and pumping as I was careful with my caffeine consumption. Not only does turmeric have excellent anti inflammatory and anti oxidant properties, it is a rich and delicious caffeine-free choice. 

 

1 cup almond milk

1 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 slice fresh ginger (to your liking, ginger can be strong for some!)

1/2 tsp coconut oil 

1 pinch pepper 

1/2 cup foamed skim or almond milk ( I use my Nespresso arancino to froth… it works like a charm)
