I am a busy New York City mom, raising 2 big kids amidst the hustle and bustle and wonder of Midtown Manhattan. My son Michael is 9 years old and my daughter Grace is 8. In my spare time (HA!) I love my career as a Child and Adolescent Psychologist. I am the founding psychologist in a private practice that I started after my daughter was born. I specialize in neuropsychological assessment of children, teens, and young adults, and my areas of expertise include diagnosing and treating all sorts of learning and emotional difficulties, such as dyslexia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and anxiety and depression. I get a tremendous amount of satisfaction helping children and their families, and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. But like all working moms, I wear many hats and have to constantly juggle work, family, and home demands and responsibilities. Some days it all feels like a breeze, other days it's hard to know what to prioritize. My motto is, you CAN have it all, just maybe not all at the exact same time. I also love to travel (I've been to over 40 countries), eat (I consider myself a "Foodie" with a weakness for red wine), but above all, I love to spend time with my husband and kids in our New York City apartment, or our weekend home on the beach in New Jersey. Please follow along as our family experiences all the fun and exciting opportunities that New York City has to offer. And please allow me to share information, advice, parenting tips, relevant research, and all my favorite collections about child development, parenting, and emotional health as we all work together to raise healthy and happy children and families.
